Design matters.
Bryn hired us in August for her March wedding (she even moved the date because we weren’t available on the date she wanted! Now that was an omen that something beautiful was about to happen.).
Although her intention was not to visit Key West before her wedding, when we started working on the design we hit a wall. She is a very visual person and we weren’t successfully designing her vision. She also couldn’t describe her vision, but she knew what she wanted.
Bryn & Brad flew in for one day. That day we solely focused on menu tastings and floral design. We spent hours with Monika Duarte (she’s a GENIUS and we drove her crazy LOL). We touched everything, moved everything, talked about everything and by the time she had left, we all knew we had a home run in the works.
Fun facts about this wedding:
The intention was to be bright and colorful — if you pay close attention to the photos, you will notice that the glasses, the napkins, the taper candles, the fruits, and even the linens for the cocktail tables were are all different colors.
THAT is detail. That is magic, and we’re so happy for Bryn because when she saw it she said “it looks exactly like what I had In my mind! That’s crazy.”
